<image:title>Our Vision - WE BELIEVE HEALING IS A PERSONAL JOURNEY, THAT SHOULD BE SUPPORTED BY COMMUNITY</image:title>
<image:caption>OUR MISSION: We are a service-oriented non-profit, aiming to utilize the effects of healing, art, & music, to support post-trauma communities, with a focus on the youth. Our goal is to create a safe environment for all individuals healing from trauma; and not as a means to an end, but rather, as a means to self-sufficiency & sustainability. We believe that healing is a communal responsibility, and feel that no one should ever have to do it alone. We offer the tools we have to encourage & promote mind, body, & spirit wellness, while maintaining safe space for individuals to process and integrate their emotions. HEALERS HELPING HEALERS: In addition, we believe in a sustainable approach to healthcare, in that those providing aid to the community also require consistent wellness support, in order to provide optimal healthcare without burnout. Our team of practitioners provide treatment for other medical professionals who are already on the ground serving the community. —Dr. Galya Loewenstein Founder & President of Spirit Healers Non-Profit.</image:caption>

<image:title>Our Team - Dr. Nadia Ramo, L.Ac, DACM, MT.</image:title>
<image:caption>Nadia Ramo graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2016 with a Master’s in Chinese Medicine. She has been licensed since May of 2017 and has been practicing out of San Diego and Los Angeles, California. In 2012 Nadia completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh India under the Yogi Master Vishvaketu. In 2014 Nadia finished the Massage program at Pacific College and started working as a Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor during her time pursuing the Master’s program. After receiving her Acupuncture License, Nadia was exposed to and diligently studied Reiki. Within two years she completed her Reiki Master-Teacher certification in 2018. Nadia’s undergrad was at UC Berkeley where she took multiple pre-medicine science classes fascinated with the human body. Her education in both the East and West modalities rendered a beautiful comprehension of modern and ancient sciences. From Western medical knowledge to Yoga, Reiki, Massage, and Acupuncture, Nadia has a colorful understanding of the human body, energetics, emotions, and the root of imbalances. She has studied more skillful approaches of Acupuncture and Herbology with teachers such as Sensei Funamizu, Kiko Matsumoto, and Jeffrey Yuen, among a community of Mycologist to deepen her approach to using Mushrooms as a powerful healing tool. Nadia’s style in practice is an integration of all her educational background. She honors the poetic and artistic approach of classical Chinese Medicine by creatively designing her treatments to be unique for each person, how they are showing up in that moment, taking note of the season, time of day, and the spirit revealed in each individual. All these elements, among a thorough intake, meridian palpation, pulse, tongue, postural, and abdominal evaluation guide Nadia's treatments to unfold as a unique and authentic experience every visit.</image:caption>

<image:title>Our Team - Dr. Alexandra Berger, DACM, L.Ac, Dipl. OM After studying clinical psychology in college, I continued my mind/body studies by obtaining a Doctorate in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. Parallel to school I practiced and taught yoga/meditation, I found myself studying the mind and body connection from the exterior (in books and research) and from the interior (through yoga/meditation). All my studies have led me to believe that our bodies carry the necessary components to prevent illnesses as well as their cure. This fascinating finding made me a passionate advocate of combining self-care practices (movement, meditation and nutrition) as well as therapeutic treatments (and sometimes an appropriate referral) to assure my patients, and myself, a strong, happy and healthy life. My calling in life is to create a safe space for the practice of healing, sharing and learning. Being part of a community that promotes a sustainable lifestyle for the self, others and the planet to thrive.</image:title>

<image:title>Our Team - Dr. LeeAnn Little</image:title>
<image:caption>A lover of life, laughter, and the great outdoors, LeeAnn, a native Floridian, spent six years in the US Navy before shifting careers and enrolling in her Master of Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Health & Science (formerly Pacific College of Oriental Medicine). She is a Licensed Acupuncturist, California Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Oncology Massage Therapist, and Chinese Herbalist. Her initial interest in alternative medicine began during a Naval Survival Training, where she discovered the medicinal benefits of certain plants. This interest in herbal medicine led her down the path of becoming an overall healer. LeeAnn's goal is to nourish each individual's physical body, which inevitably supports their mental and emotional health. LeeAnn has extensive experience treating specific populations: cancer patients, military Veterans, and NCAA Division 1 athletes. As an athlete herself she realizes the importance of preventative healthcare and pain management, and utilizes these principles in her own life, as well as with her patients'. Her specialties cover a wide range of alternative modalities: deep tissue, sports therapy, and trigger point massage; Traditional Chinese Medicine-style and Sports Medicine/orthopedic-style acupuncture; and Chinese herbalism. Her supplemental therapies include fire cupping, gua sha, electro-stimulation and moxa. During treatments, she curates a blend of these treatment methods to meet each individual’s needs. On the weekends, you can find her out catching waves, hiking, or on camping trips with her friends and beloved miniature long-haired dachshund, Adam. LeeAnn strives for a balanced approach to life and deeply appreciates how a body in health leads to a mind in health.</image:caption>
